Public Awareness
As part of our advocacy efforts, Ravi Abeysuriya, Advocacy
Chair and Director of CFA Society Sri Lanka has taken the initiative to publish
a booklet in all three languages to create Financial Literacy awareness in Sri
Lanka jointly with Colombo Stock Exchange.
A recent Central Bank survey has found that 57.9 percent of Sri Lanka
adults are financially illiterate. CFA Society Sri Lanka has forged with CSE to
increase the financial literacy level through many initiatives.
